For the avant garde look for my makeup class finals, I decided to create this 'unzipped' look. It was inspired by a conversation my brother and I had. He suggested that maybe one side on the face could be in full drag and the other side would be normal, like an outside persona and then who the person really is. It evolved into the idea was that underneath a severe exterior, there was softness and vibrancy and an incredible mind.
I initially tried to attach a whole zipper to her face but with just lash glue at my disposable, it wasn't holding. So I decided to paint the teeth of the zipper and only attach the slider to give it a 3D effect. I was very happy with the outcome and it got me the final grade I needed to ace the course!
